Overview
This comprehensive 5-day course introduces geoscientists to the principles and practice of seismic stratigraphy, a powerful tool for interpreting depositional environments, identifying stratigraphic traps, and understanding reservoir distribution from seismic data. Participants will learn to recognize key seismic reflections, interpret depositional sequences, apply seismic facies analysis, and integrate well and core data with seismic stratigraphy to predict reservoir geometry and continuity.
The course combines lectures with practical exercises on real datasets, enabling participants to confidently use seismic stratigraphy in exploration, appraisal, and development projects.
